I would like to put in an unpaid plug for this book. (I tried speed-reading it between frames at the OBA, but I wasn't fast enough.) There is a lot of great insight in here, as Gary and Ric address negative thoughts that we've all had and how to replace them with positive thinking'

'This book is great! It really makes you take things differently into perspective instead of the usual just work on the physical game to get better. All books I have read always talk about physical aspects; what to do, what not to do, what causes bad timing etc. This really helps with the "6inches between the ears". Sometimes I forget that to do well is not just physically but also mentally and this book nails it on the head'

After receiving a lesson from Ric this past Saturday I got some confidence back into my game. I was reading the head games book the next day at league thinking I was going to blow it up because the lesson from the previous day went so well. Well it didn't go that well chopped a spare here tugged a ball there made a bad move. I was getting a little down on myself. I opened the book and read the chapter acceptance and realized that I'm going to make bad shots or moves, but no need for the house to crumble. I thought of things to stay positive. I told myself that the ball is coming off my hand better than it has in months. With a little practice things will come around. Next day I go out to league shoot a mid 600 less mistakes better execution. Staying positive does help.
Thank you HY Bowling Concepts the book is already helping

Ric Hamlin & Gary Yamasaki

created this book for all sports. But I believe their main focus is for us as bowlers. We are athletes!'

Love the book that you and Gary Yamasaki wrote. After reading the part about how Important a PRE-SHOT ROUTINE Is I decided to GO BACK to my old and longer pre-shot routine at Wilsonville last night. I had been In a funk at this particular bowling alley for the last couple of months. I slowed everything down and took a tad longer on the approach. I shot 716 and was 4 shots away from 800 (Two wiggled 4 pins, and two swishing 7 pins) Recommend this book to all bowlers that strive to better their game'

Good reading, Ric.

After reading, went into city tournament with a little different mindset. 772 team, 780 singles (city tournament record), 672 Dbls, 2224 AE (2nd highest City tournament AE ever shot) I give credit to you and your book.
