 Head Games, The Mental Approach of Bowling & Sports is a compilation of Ric Hamlin and Gary Yamasaki's experience and focuses on the often over-looked mental aspect of bowling. Between them, Ric and Gary bring over 60 years experience in the sport of bowling in writing this book.
 Both grew up as standout junior bowlers (Ric in the Southern California programs and Gary in the Greater Portland programs) competed in the amateur ranks with both registering World Team Challenge titles as well as competing in numerous PBA events with Ric as a member for over 15 years and Gary recording a regional title. Ric and Gary have also spent most of their working careers in the bowling industry with Ric working with major ball manufacturers and Gary working with local bowling publications. Both have extensive experience coaching all levels of bowlers as well as experience in operating pro shops.
