 Head Games, The Mental Approach of Bowling & Sports is a compilation of Ric Hamlin and Gary Yamasaki's experience and focuses on the often over-looked mental aspect of bowling. This book is intended for all levels of bowlers from those just starting out to the elite competitors.

 Ric and Gary's unique experience from having competed at every level as well as working with a wide range of bowlers gives a perspective that should be approachable by all bowlers.

Steve Cook

the biggest physical specimen ever on the PBA Tour at 6-7, 265 lbs., early captured the fancy of fans with his exciting style. Cook became a star at 21 and never stopped, amassing 15 career titles and more than $800,000 in prize money. He captured three Major titles, including the 1981 Tournament of Champions, the 1983 Touring Players Championship and the 1986 BPAA U.S. Open.  PBA Hall of Fame Profile

 

Sam Carter

is a member of the California USBC Hall of Fame having been elected in 2009.  Carter also has etched his name into the history books when he fired the 16th perfect game of the 2012 USBC Open Championships during doubles at the Baton Rouge River Center. Carter is no stranger to success, having won the scratch portion of the 2011 Winter Mini-Eliminator to go with two previous High Roller victories.

 

Lynda Barnes

of Double Oak, Texas, is a two-time USBC Queens champion (1998, 2008), has six top-five finishes at the U.S. Women's Open and has won dozens of international medals competing for Team USA, including the 2005 QubicaAMF World Cup. Barnes, the wife of Professional Bowlers Association star Chris Barnes, owns four USBC Women's Championships titles and was a standout collegiate bowler at San Jose State.   USBC Hall of Fame Profile
